NewYorkCourtFile.com is operated by CourtFile LLC. We provide criminal court statistics from publicly available New York DCJS pretrial release data and OCA-STAT Act data for informational purposes.

Information We Collect

When you submit a case review form, we collect:

  • Contact information: Phone number (required), name and email address (optional)
  • Case information: Charge type, county, and when you were charged
  • Technical data: IP address (for rate limiting), UTM parameters and referrer (for analytics), page you submitted from

We also collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics (GA4) to understand site traffic patterns.

How We Use Your Information

When you submit the case review form, your contact and case information is shared with up to three (3) participating licensed criminal defense attorneys in your area who may contact you about your case.

We do not:

  • Sell your information to data brokers
  • Use your information for purposes unrelated to attorney matching
  • Share your information with non-attorney third parties for marketing
  • Make automated legal decisions based on your information

Consent to Contact

By submitting the case review form, you provide express consent to be contacted by phone, text message, or email by one or more licensed attorneys regarding your legal matter. This consent is not a condition of receiving any service. Standard message and data rates may apply.

You may revoke your consent at any time by emailing support@newyorkcourtfile.com.

Data Retention

We retain form submission data for up to 12 months, after which it is deleted unless an active attorney-client relationship has been established. You may request early deletion at any time.

Court Data

All court statistics on this site are derived from publicly available New York DCJS pretrial release data and OCA-STAT Act court data. We do not publish individual defendant names or personal information.

Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand site traffic. GA4 uses first-party cookies to distinguish users and sessions. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. We use cookies for admin authentication only.
